An Abundant Harvest Of Harmony And History

What better way for power-harmony acoustic trio
Vinnick Sheppard Harte
to come full circle than with an Orbital tangent?

Be so there this Friday at 5:30 for a live performance and previews
of their Hugh's Room
reunion on Sunday, 25 September.

From the Newport Folk Festival in 1964 to the Tokyo 50th Anniversary Reunion Tour in 2013, not much had changed in the bravado, chemistry and renewable energy capacity of the legendary Jim Kweskin Jug Band.
I will be speaking at 6:00 with their parade master,
Jim Kweskin about his 50 plus years as a paragon of Americana, cultural restoration and music that seems to make 'em feel just fine..

He is appearing for a solo show at Hugh's Room on Wednesday 28 September.

His new album with jug-band survivor Geoff Muldaur is Penny's Farm, a loving curation of country blues, ballads and stomps. Available at the show and widely otherwise.

PLUS: New music by The O'Pears, Tanya Tagaq and Li'l Ed & The Blues Imperials.
